Hi! And welcome to our new website. We're glad that you're taking a look around. We have horse sales, trail riding and pony rides for the young ones. Banawitz Trails is currently closed for the winter, as we are trying to get the insurence and such set up, but we hope it'll be up by spring or summer! Banawitz Trails is located in the Town of Amsterdam at 260 Truax Road. It's owned by Art and Alyce Banawitz.
Off to the side, you will see one part of the trails(currently not up). The trail ride lasts for about an hour, maybe a little longer, and goes through numerous parts of the trails. While on the ride, the rider is asked to please pay attention to the horse. Trail rides are $25.00 per person 14 and up, $15.00 8-13 and pony rides(which include riding the pony, learning about horses and going to see/groom/pet a horse) are $10.00. When that is through, the kids will head in the house for a little snack and some juice ormilk while they waitfor their gaurdians to return. 5 people will be out on the trails at a time. Reservations can be made.
